Privacy Policy

1. General information.

The service performs the function of obtaining information about users and their behavior in the following ways:

  • Through voluntarily provided information in forms.
  • By saving cookie files (so-called “cookies”) on end devices.
  • By collecting server logs on the website.

2. Information in forms.

The service collects information voluntarily provided by the user.

Additionally, the service may store information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).

The data in the form is not disclosed to third parties other than with the user’s consent.

The data provided in the form may constitute a set of potential customers registered by the Service Operator in the register kept by the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection.

The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the specific form, e.g., to carry out the process of service request handling or business contact.

The data provided in the forms may be transferred to entities technically implementing certain services, in particular, it concerns the transmission of information about the owner of a registered domain to entities being the operators of internet domains (primarily the Research and Academic Computer Network j.b.r – NASK), payment service providers, or other entities cooperating with the Service Operator in this respect.

3. Cookie information.

The service uses cookies.

Cookies are computer data, especially text files, that are stored in the end device of the User and are intended for using the websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the duration of their storage on the end device, and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the end device of the User of the Service and accessing them is the operator of the Service.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • Creating statistics that help to understand how Users of the Service use websites, which allows improving their structure and content.
  • Maintaining the User’s Service session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on every subpage of the Service.
  • Determining the user’s profile to display tailored materials in advertising networks, in particular, the Google network.

Within the Service, two basic types of cookies are used: “session cookies” and “persistent cookies”. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored in the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or turning off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored in the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

The web browser usually allows storing cookies on the User’s end device by default. Users of the Service can change the settings in this regard. The web browser allows deleting cookies as well. Automatic blocking of cookies is also possible. Detailed information on this subject is provided in the help or documentation of the web browser.

Limitations on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the websites of the Service.

Cookies placed on the end device of the User of the Service may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the operator of the Service.

We recommend reading the privacy policy of these companies to learn about the rules of using cookies used in statistics: Google Analytics Privacy Policy.

Cookies may be used by advertising networks, in particular, the Google network, to display ads tailored to the way the user uses the Service. For this purpose, they may retain information about the user’s navigation path or the time of staying on a given page.

Regarding information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit the information derived from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.

4. Server logs.

Information about some user behaviors is subject to logging in the server layer. These data are used only to administer the Service and ensure the most efficient operation of the provided hosting services.

Viewed resources are identified by URLs. Additionally, the following may be subject to logging:

  • Time of the inquiry.
  • Time of sending the response.
  • Client station name – identification performed by the HTTP protocol.
  • Information about errors that occurred during the execution of the HTTP transaction.
  • URL of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) – in the case when the transition to the Service’s website was made via a link.
  • Information about the user’s browser.
  • Information about the IP address.

The above data is not associated with specific individuals browsing the pages.

The above data is used only for the purposes of server administration.

5. Data disclosure.

Data is disclosed to external entities only within the legally permitted limits.

Data enabling the identification of a natural person is disclosed only with the consent of that person.

The operator may be obliged to provide the information collected by the Service to authorized authorities on the basis of lawful requests to the extent resulting from the request.

6. Managing cookies – how to express and withdraw consent in practice?
